Lua Blanco (born March 5, 1987) is a Brazilian actress and singer who plays the lead role in the Rede Record's telenovela Rebelde.

Biography

Born in São Paulo,[1] Lua Blanco is the granddaughter of the musician Billy Blanco, and she is also the sister of the singers and actors Estrela Blanco, Pedro Sol and Ana Terra.[2] She is studying Linguistics at the PUC-Rio university.

Career

Lua Blanco started her acting career in 2008 in the Rede Globo telenovela Três Irmãs, playing Bia, then appearing in the following year in Malhação.[3][4] Since 2006, she is a member of the band "Lágrima Flor", as a singer. Lua Blanco temporarily left the band to play the lead role, Roberta Messi, in the 2011 Rede Record telenovela Rebelde.[5]
